Michelle Randolph Can’t Stop Visiting This Fort Worth Café While Filming Landman

Last updated

While filming the hit drama “Landman”, actress Michelle Randolph found more than just cameras and scripts in Fort Worth, Texas. She also found her favorite meal.

The series, created by Taylor Sheridan, has been shooting in different parts of Texas, including areas around Fort Worth. During the busy filming schedule, cast members often look for a place to relax and enjoy good food. For Michelle Randolph, that place is Press Cafe.

Beyond Michelle Randolph’s own experience during filming, her co-stars Paulina Chávez and Ali Larter have also opened up about their time on set, sharing a few memorable moments and insights from working on the series.

In an interview with Cowboys & Indians magazine, Randolph shared her favorite restaurant while working on the show. She quickly named Press Cafe, a popular spot in North Central Texas. She said she has ordered the same dish again and again — the salmon Caesar salad.

“I have one that I ate at the most, which is Press Cafe,” she said during the interview. She added that she has probably ordered the salad about 30 times while filming.

The café’s special salmon Caesar salad is not a basic salad. It starts with fresh greens and house-made Caesar dressing. Instead of using only romaine lettuce, the restaurant adds emerald kale, giving the dish more crunch and texture. The plate also features a colorful red beet coulis, which adds both flavor and a bright look. On top sits a fresh piece of salmon, making the meal both filling and healthy.

According to the restaurant’s menu, the salad is priced at $29. Even though Press Cafe offers other choices like a crab cake salad, deconstructed tuna salad, and a farmer’s salad, Randolph sticks with her favorite.

The show “Landman” focuses on the world of oil and business in Texas. With long filming days and intense scenes, it makes sense that Randolph would return to a meal she trusts and enjoys.

Other cast members have also been exploring local restaurants in Fort Worth. Spots like 61 Osteria and B&B Butchers have become popular among the team.

For fans visiting Fort Worth, Press Cafe may now be a must-stop location. Thanks to Michelle Randolph, the simple salmon Caesar salad has become one of the most talked-about dishes connected to the filming of “Landman.”
