Your favorite character, “Sonic the Hedgehog,” is set to return once again because the news is out for the completion of filming of Sonic 3.
Sonic, also known as Sonic the Hedgehog 3, is a new film in Hedgehog or Sonic, which is based on the video game series published by Sega. Also, it is the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog film, released in 2020, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 film, released in 2022.
Filming was delayed due to 2023 strikes
Finally, after being delayed by the 2023 SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, filming on Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has wrapped.
Actor James Marsden, who plays Tom Wachowski in the upcoming film, recently confirmed that filming on Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has wrapped.
Sonic 3 Filming began on August 31, 2023 in London. While confirming that the film was finished, James recalled his time during production and praised co-star Jim Carrey he praised Dumb and Dumber Jim Carrey’s portrayal of Dr. Robotnik.
With the release of Sonic’s upcoming film, it remains to be seen whether Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will bring the trilogy to a high-stakes conclusion.
Screenrant reports that Commenting on Sonic 3’s filming, the actor James Marsden said:-
“Yeah, we just wrapped, actually! … I feel really proud of what we created, and the response from the fans, we just had to get the animation right on that first movie, but great family, all positive.”
He further added:-
“Jim’s just having a ball, he’s in his inspiration zone… So it’s a joy to watch him have a good time, like really enjoying it again. It’s great, very lucky to be a part of it, and I think fans are gonna be excited about all the new characters.”
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is a new upcoming Action, Adventure, Comedy, Family, Fantasy, and Sci-Fi Film whose directorial credit goes to Jeff Fowler and is scripted by Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and John Whittington.
In the upcoming Sonic movie, you will find many stars like James Marsden, Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub, Idris Elba, and Jim Carrey showing their skills and experience.
Jim Carrey retired after starring in the previous Sonic film, which was released in 2020, and now he is back and returning to the Sonic world with the third film.
The upcoming action-adventure comedy film Sonic 3 is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2024 in the United States by Paramount Pictures.
