Jason Momoa Says He Is “Very Pumped” as ‘Minecraft’ Sequel Filming Set for May in New Zealand

In an interview with Extra, Jason Momoa confirmed that production plans for the ‘Minecraft’ sequel are moving forward and that he is already looking forward to stepping back into character.

While discussing the sequel, Jason said he laughed out loud while reading and watching early material, making it clear that the movie will bring strong humor and energy. He shared that he is “very pumped” about returning as Garett, also known as Garbage Man, calling the character one of his personal favorites. Jason added that the role has a special charm and that he cannot wait to play it again.

At the same time, Jason Momoa spoke about working closely with Dave Bautista on ‘The Wrecking Crew’. He described their on-set bond as playful and brotherly. Jason joked that he enjoys teasing Dave because of his calm and regal nature. He also praised Dave’s powerful presence, saying that filming fight scenes with him was intense and even a little scary. Jason Momoa admitted that while he loves action, the physical scenes still hurt, no matter how experienced you are.
