A 2023 American sports comedy film 80 For Brady directed by Kyle Marvin is released in the United States on February 3, 2023, by Paramount Pictures. Paramount also revealed that the film will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on May 2.
80 For Brady received mixed reviews from critics and has grossed $38 million. The film follows a group of friends Lou played by Lily Tomlin, Trish played by Jane Fonda, Maura played by Rita Moreno, and Betty played by Sally Field who is massive fans of the team’s star quarterback Tom Brady and made it their mission to go to the Super Bowl and meet NFL superstar Tom Brady.
The film is Rated PG-13 for brief strong language, some drug content, and some suggestive references. Filming of the film began in March 2022 in California and Billy Porter and Guy Fieri were added to the cast.

Updated July 2026. More than three years after this Blu-ray/DVD release, no 80 for Brady sequel has been greenlit, despite Tom Brady teasing interest in more acting. The film — starring Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field — remains a modest cult favorite rather than a franchise, having grossed about $38 million on mixed reviews. Brady himself has largely stepped away from acting cameos: since retiring from football in 2023, he’s become Fox Sports’ lead NFL color analyst on a 10-year, $375 million deal, calling games alongside Kevin Burkhardt.
