For all the Dearest gentle readers, Lady Whistledown is back with her own story with Colin Bridgerton who is the third Bridgerton son. Lady Whistledown will have more gossip, scandal, and intrigue in season 3 of the series.

The series was renewed for a third and fourth season in April 2021 and season 2 ended with Penelope over warmed by overhearing Colin chatting with some fellow gentleman and saying that he “would never dream of courting Penelope Featherington.”

In Bridgerton Season 3 follows Penelope Featherington who gives up on her crush on Colin Bridgerton and focuses on finding a husband who will allow her independence. Colin returns with a new look and tries to win back Penelope’s friendship by mentoring her.

As their bond deepens, Colin questions his feelings. Penelope’s double life as Lady Whistledown becomes harder to hide, and her rift with Eloise adds to the complications.

Bridgerton Season 3 Release Date?

The filming of the Bridgerton Season 3 wrapped up in March 2023 and the show will release around late fall or early winter 2023. According to Collider, season 3 can also be premiered on Christmas as Season 1 of the series was on December 25, 2020.

Most of the cast of Season 2 will return back in Bridgerton Season 3 which includes, Claudia Jessie as Eloise, Luke Thompson as Benedict, and Luke Newton as Colin. Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, along with Simone Ashley as Kate Bridgerton, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Featherington and so will Polly Walker as Lady Portia Featherington.

But, Daphne who is the Duchess of Hastings, will not be returning for Season 3 which is played by Phoebe Dynevor and she revealed the news back in January by saying, “Sadly not in Season 3. Potentially in the future. But in season 3, I’m just excited to watch as a viewer.”
