Filming was originally planned to start on August 7, 2023, in New Zealand. However, it was delayed because of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, which affected many Hollywood movies and TV shows. After the strike ended in early November 2023, filming was planned to start in early 2024.
Filming officially began in late December 2023. By mid-January 2024, cameras were rolling in Auckland, New Zealand. Filming continued for about three months and ended in mid-April 2024.
