The crew filmed in Birmingham and its surrounding areas; it is a City and manufacturing town in England, as per the 2019 census, whose total population is around 1.149 million and is noted for its cultural festivals and unique street art tours.
Apart from this, Birmingham is also the home of great scientists and inventors Matthew Bolton, James Watt and William Murdoch.
📍Druids Heath, Birmingham
The series filmed scenes of Saxelby House, Kingswood House and Barretts House in the tower blocks of Druids Heath in south Birmingham, where Dante lives in Chelmsley Wood.
Druids Heath is a large housing estate, where the original Chelmsley Wood block stands which was Europe’s largest single housing development in the sixties but was demolished in the 1990s.
📍Heartlands Parkway, Nechells
As per independent reports, The series’ motorway scene where an astronaut is driven along the road down the Heartlands Parkway in Neches, across red and black diamond bricks, was actually shot at the Heartlands Parkway.

Coach and Horses is a Transport interchange whose address is West Bromwich B71 1JQ, United Kingdom.
The Horse and Coach was also one of the selected filming locations for the series, as it was used as a set to recreate the former The Happy Trooper pub in Chelmsley Wood. Retro modifications made to the horse and coach’s interiors by the production for filming brought it back to look like new.
📍Gravelly Hill, Birmingham
The series shows you on screen the famous tangle of roads at the Spaghetti Junction motorway interchange, the filming of which was actually done by the crew below the Gravelly Hill motorway junction. The main objective of filming the vehicle was to avoid getting caught in confusion on the road. Gravelly Hill is an area of Birmingham.

Aston Parish Church is a Church in Birmingham, England which was designed by Architect J. A. Chatwin. Cameras were set up at the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul in Witton Lane, Aston, to film most of the series’ scenes.
📍Coventry Cathedral, Coventry

To bring reality to the series, the cast traveled to Coventry, the birthplace of ska bands Two-Tone and The Specials, and filmed some of the film’s scenes there as well. Several interior church shots were filmed inside Coventry Cathedral.
Its Construction was started in 1951 by Architect Basil Spence and was opened in 1962.

Some scenes were filmed with Dante and Jenny on the bridge at Bescot looking towards Walsall Junction, a busy stretch between the M5 and M6. Walsall is the 2nd most dangerous area and town in the West Midlands.

Digbeth Loc. Studios is a movie studio in Birmingham, England, founded by the creator of Peaky Blinders, Steven Knight. It was also given priority for filming this series and opening in 2023.
According to Steven Knight, the 80,000 square foot studio aims to “establish a thriving industry in Birmingham” and “engage with the city”. It was also filmed at UK’s TVS Television Theater and Limehouse Studios.
In addition to the above locations, other locations in Birmingham where the filming unit filmed included Birks Street and Fielding Street, Stoke-on-Trent.
