Peaky Blinders Creator’s New Drama “This Town” Debuts on BBC

BBC has released the trailer of its upcoming show, “This Town,” created by Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders.

This Town will be released on March 31, 2024 on BBC. Set in 1981, it tells the story of an extended family fighting to choose their paths amidst an iconic music scene in 80s Coventry and Birmingham.

The series includes six episodes, is produced by Kudas and Nebulastar, and is filmed on location in Birmingham and Digbeth Loc. Studios.

The first look of the series shows Levi Brown (Payback) as Dante Williams, a poet who struggles with the fate of his life.

Shos’s official Synopsis says, “Creative genius can emerge from a time of madness.”

The other cast members of the series include Michelle Dockery, Nicholas Pinnock, David Dawson, Rose, Eve Austin, Geraldine James, Levi Brown, Freya Parks, and others.

Paul Whittington directs This Town. The show will also feature music created by musician Kae Tempest.

This Town will be on the screen on March 31, 2024, on both BBC One. The second season will be released on April 1, 2024; after that, more episodes will be released weekly on Sundays.
