Bravo’s The Valley had officially wrapped its third season — including its reunion special — but new developments in the lives of its cast members have brought the cameras back out.
Production on The Valley Season 3 has resumed to capture Brittany Cartwright’s reaction to a wave of headlines involving her estranged husband Jax Taylor, according to Deadline. The season, including its reunion special filmed on June 18, had already concluded before the new footage became necessary.

What Triggered the Cameras Coming Back
The situation began when TMZ published photos of Taylor and his personal publicist appearing close in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with onlookers describing the two as openly affectionate and not attempting to conceal their behavior throughout the day. The images spread quickly and created immediate fallout.
What made the story significantly more complicated was that Taylor and Cartwright had been sharing the same publicist at the time. Following the publication of the photos, Cartwright dropped the publicist, according to further reporting by TMZ — a development that added another layer of very public drama to an already messy situation.
Taylor, who had been an original cast member of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff before stepping away from the series after Season 2 to focus on his sobriety, and Cartwright have been separated and in divorce proceedings for some time, with their relationship forming a significant part of the show’s earlier storylines.
How This Could Affect the Season
Sources close to the production told Deadline that the newly filmed footage of Cartwright’s reaction could potentially be inserted into the Season 3 finale, where the show typically includes updates on cast members’ lives following the conclusion of principal filming. It is a format that allows productions to incorporate real-world developments that unfold after the main season has wrapped.
A Pattern at Bravo
This kind of post-wrap camera pickup has become increasingly familiar territory for Bravo. Earlier this year, Summer House found itself in a similar position after co-stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson publicly confirmed their relationship following weeks of denials — forcing additional scenes to be filmed after the season had already concluded. That scandal also extended into the spinoff In the City, which had filmed the previous fall but required new scenes to help bridge what audiences were watching on screen with what they already knew had unfolded in real time.
The Valley Season 3 is currently expected to air on Bravo later this year.
