Netflix is spotlighting Matt Robertson and Khani Le’s story in an upcoming documentary. Now those who are unfamiliar with the couple, Matt and Khani are Americans, and their third date happened in March 2020 at the beginning of a global lockdown due to COVID-19 and they were together in Costa Rica for the foreseeable future.

Longest Third Date is a modern romcom and an unexpected social experiment which is directed by Brent Hodge and covers the true story of two strangers’ journey to love and live together during unprecedented and hard times.

“I loved hearing about Matt and Khani’s story.” Hodge the director of the documentary tells Tudum. “It’s crazy how life can get completely turned upside down in a split second. I thought I knew all about pushing outside my comfort zone but I really had no idea until getting stuck overseas with a girl I barely knew.” Matt and Khani shared.

The ‘Longest Third Date’ Trailer Explained: Longest Third Date is set to release on April 18, Here is the official Trailer. The trailer dive deep into the couple’s life and captures the moments from their trip. The series is executive produced by Jordana Hochman, Jon Katz, Darin Friedmann, Brent Hodge, Sarah Howell, Eric Hoberman, Stephen Ruddy, and Mike Ang. Here is the official Trailer.
