On returning to Spider-Man, Sydney Sweeney has one condition: if she gets to appear with Zendaya.
ComicBook spoke with the star about possibly returning as Julia Cornwall in a future Spider-Man film.
When asked if she’d be interested, she responded, “Oh my God, yeah, that’d be so cool.” Zendaya’s involvement would only sweeten the deal for her.
While Madame Web’s success might complicate things, Sweeney believes in never saying to such opportunities.
The actors in the movie had to talk about Madame Web a lot. The women who acted in the film did a good job even though it was a strange situation.
Madame Web needed a press tour, and the actors did it well. Sydney Sweeney told The LA Times, “I was just hired as an actress in it, so I was just along for the ride for whatever was going to happen.”
In another interview, Sydney Sweeney said, “Unfortunately, I’m not surprised that this has gone down the way it has. It’s so hard to get movies made, and in these big movies that get made, and it’s even starting to happen with the little ones, which is what’s freaking me out. Decisions are being made by committees, and art does not do well when it’s made by committee.”
