David Schwimmer, famous for playing Ross in “Friends,” was seen filming for the show “Goosebumps” in Ditmas Park.
They’re filming the latest season for Disney+. Local parking was restricted since Wednesday because of the shoot by Mesquite Productions.
They took over nine blocks from Marlborough Road to East 17th Street between Ditmas Avenue and Foster Avenue.
The show is based on R.L. Stine’s books and stars Schwimmer as a divorced parent of two teens who investigate the disappearance of five teens in 1994.
Schwimmer was spotted filming on Friday, April 5, alongside Ana Ortiz, Jayden Bartels, and Sam McCarthy.
As per the deadline report, filming ended on Friday for the weekend but is expected to continue next week. There’s no confirmed information about the details yet.
Southern Brooklyn has been a popular spot for filming lately. Amanda Seyfried was recently seen in Dyker Heights shooting for the new Peacock series “Long Bright River,” based on a bestselling book.

Goosebumps Update (2026)
Updated August 2026. The Brooklyn shoot David Schwimmer joined ultimately became “Goosebumps: The Vanishing,” which dropped all eight episodes at once on Disney+ and Hulu on January 10, 2025. Despite the anthology format refresh, the series wrapped up for good in August 2025 when Disney opted not to move forward with a third season, closing the book on the modern Goosebumps revival after two seasons. The franchise’s filming locations, from the original series’ small-town settings to the newer installment, remain a popular stop for fans tracing R.L. Stine’s world on screen.
