‘The Nutty Professor’ star Stella Stevens Dies at 84

An American actress Stella Stevens is no more among us she has died at the age of 84. Stevens also worked as a film producer, director, and writer.

Stella Stevens at age 16 married electrician Noble Herman Stephens on December 3, 1954, and they got divorced in 1957. They have a child name Andrew Stevens in 1955 together.

Andrew Stevens is an American executive, film producer, director, and actor told The Hollywood Reporter. “She had been in hospice for quite some time with Stage 7 Alzheimer’s,”

‘The Nutty Professor’ star Stella Stevens Dies at 84 has filmed more than 50 movies and series and also starred opposite Elvis Presley in Girls! Girls! Girls! is a 1962 American musical comedy film (1962).

“It was an honor and a privilege to have worked with Stella, who was one of the most wonderful and gifted people.” Her friend and manager, Maria Calabrese said.


In Memoriam: Stella Stevens’s Legacy Remembered

Stevens passed away on February 17, 2023, due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease; she was laid to rest on February 25, 2023, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with family, friends, and former co-stars in attendance. Her son, actor-director Andrew Stevens, later paid tribute to her by writing and directing the documentary Stella Stevens: The Last Starlet, honoring a career that spanned The Nutty Professor and The Poseidon Adventure. Fans and colleagues continue to remember her as one of classic Hollywood’s most versatile leading women.
