The Roku Channel has debuted the first trailer for the second season and we can see David Castaneda who replaced Liam Hemsworth and Most Dangerous Game: New York maintaining the same storyline as the first season.
Season 1 of the series follows Dodge Tynes who is desperate to take care of his pregnant wife who has a terminal illness. Dodge Tynes accepts to participate in a deadly game and he soon discovers that he’s not the hunter but the prey.

‘Most Dangerous Game: New York’ Trailer Explained: The season 2 trailer begins with Christoph Waltz who played Miles Sellars, the hunt organizer who introduces Victor to members of his organization. Victor is a fighter and will do anything to protect his sister when get to know about her trouble he needs to come up with a half-million dollars to protect her so he agrees to participate in a deadly game. If he survives the game he’ll make a fortune.

Updated July 2026. Most Dangerous Game: New York, the Christoph Waltz-led second season previewed in this story, premiered on The Roku Channel in March 2023. Just months later, Roku pulled the series from its platform in September 2023 as part of a broader cost-cutting move that also eliminated around 300 jobs. The show wasn’t formally cancelled, but no third season has been ordered since, and it’s since resurfaced on other platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, for viewers who want to catch up. For now, the series appears to have ended with its second season.
