Filming for Season 5 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” has been suddenly stopped, and new reports say the reason is linked to Taylor Frankie Paul and a serious situation from her past.
According to multiple sources, the popular Hulu reality show is currently not filming any new episodes. This unexpected pause comes just days after Season 4 was released, which already had a lot of drama.
In an interview with PEOPLE, insiders shared that the production team has decided to wait before moving forward. One source said that “they are not filming” right now because Taylor Frankie Paul is dealing with serious personal issues. The source also explained that filming will only continue after the situation is resolved.
The issue involves an ongoing domestic assault investigation. A spokesperson from the Draper City Police Department confirmed that there is an open case involving Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. Officials said that allegations have been made from both sides, and authorities spoke with them in late February. However, no further details have been shared yet because the case is still active.
As this situation continues, reports say that other members of the MomTok group are starting to distance themselves from Paul. A source close to the cast revealed that many of the women do not want to be linked to the controversy right now.
This is not the first time Paul has faced such issues. Back in 2023, she was arrested after a domestic violence incident involving Mortensen. At that time, she faced several charges, including assault and criminal mischief. Later, she said during a podcast appearance that those charges were dropped.
