Jonathan Majors Injured in Shocking On-Set Accident as Crew Walks Out of Action Film

A serious accident happened during the filming of a new action movie starring Jonathan Majors, creating major trouble on set and leading to a sudden crew walkout.

The incident took place in late March 2026 while filming in South Carolina. During a scene, Loki Season One and Season 2 star Jonathan Majors and his co-star JC Kilcoyne accidentally fell out of a window from about six feet high. The fall happened when a glass panel behind them suddenly broke.

According to reports, the glass used in the scene was tempered glass, which is normally used for stunt shots. However, it was said to be loosely placed in the window frame, which caused it to give way earlier than planned.

JC Kilcoyne was badly hurt in the accident. He reportedly needed stitches on his hands after the glass shattered. Thankfully, Jonathan Majors was not injured.

In a report by Deadline, the accident happened after the original panel had been replaced with a special glass sheet meant to break later during filming. But things went wrong, and the scene became dangerous before it was supposed to.

After the accident, things got even more serious. Many crew members started raising safety concerns about the production. Reports say there were issues like unsafe props, falling equipment, and even black mold found on set.

Because of these problems, more than half of the crew decided to walk off the set on March 26, 2026. The crew also moved to join the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), leading to a labor strike.

During a conversation with Deadline, producers were reported to be in conflict with the crew over working conditions and safety rules. The union had earlier tried to ensure health and pension protections, but concerns grew stronger over time.

Producer Dallas Sonnier reacted strongly to the strike. He criticized the crew’s decision and said the production team was focused on making the film, even as tensions increased.

This untitled action film is very important for Jonathan Majors, as it marks his return to acting after his exit from Marvel Studios, where he played Kang the Conqueror in projects like Loki and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

The shocking accident and crew strike have now raised big questions about safety on film sets and the future of this movie’s production. Filming may face delays as the situation continues to develop.
