Johnny Depp Spotted Filming Secret Netflix Horror Movie in Maidstone Streets

Hollywood star Johnny Depp has been seen filming a new mystery project in the busy town center of Maidstone, England, surprising fans and locals this week.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was spotted shooting scenes on Week Street, right outside the popular bar and restaurant MuMu’s. Reports say filming has been happening for the past two days, with large film crews and equipment taking over parts of the street.

Crowds quickly gathered as people noticed Johnny Depp on set. Many fans stood nearby to watch the filming and take photos. Some even shared images online showing the actor working with the crew while cameras rolled.

According to a report by KentOnline, the actor is currently working on a new horror movie that is expected to release on Netflix in October.

An employee from Greek Taverna Artemis, a restaurant located just across from the filming spot, shared a small update. They said, “He is filming for a new horror movie which will be on Netflix in October, but that’s all we’ve been told.” The full details of the project are still being kept secret.

Photos from the location show film crews, lighting setups, and cameras placed outside MuMu’s, while curious onlookers gathered nearby. The atmosphere in the town quickly turned exciting as word spread that a major Hollywood actor was filming there.

This is not the first time Johnny Depp has visited the Kent area. Back in 2022, he visited Folly Wildlife Rescue in Tunbridge Wells, where he was seen holding a rescued badger cub. Later that same year, he even became a patron of the charity.

Earlier, in 2018, Depp was also seen traveling on a Eurostar train from Paris to Ashford, where he happily posed for photos and signed autographs for fans.
