Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming Paramount+ series Frisco King is giving North Texas residents a rare chance to appear on screen — and one of the scenes involves a late-night rave, foam, and getting rained on while you dance.
The Samuel L. Jackson-led series is currently in active production across multiple North Texas cities and is now casting extras for two upcoming scenes through Texas-based Legacy Casting, according to the Star-Telegram.
Table of Contents
The Rave Scene
The first opportunity is a rave scene filming overnight in Granbury across four dates — July 16, 17, 20, and 21. The production is looking for participants between the ages of 18 and 26 who are comfortable being on their feet through the night, getting caught in rain effects, and having foam fall on them as part of the scene’s atmosphere. The pay is $200 per night.
Interested applicants can reach out directly to Legacy Casting at [email protected] or apply through MyCastingFile at the link provided by the casting company.
The Restaurant Scene
The second scene takes place at a Pakistani restaurant setting across four days — July 9, 10, 14, and 15. Legacy is specifically seeking Middle Eastern extras aged 18 and older for this sequence, which pays $200 per day. Interior filming on July 9 and 10 will take place in Haltom City, while exterior scenes on July 14 and 15 will move to Southlake. Applications can be submitted through the same Legacy Casting contact.
What Is ‘Frisco King’?
Frisco King stars Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a hitman who previously crossed paths with Sylvester Stallone’s character Dwight Manfredi during Tulsa King Season 3. The series follows the same “fish out of water” format that made Tulsa King a hit — placing Jackson’s character, who has deep New Orleans roots, into the unfamiliar world of North Texas. The show was originally developed under the title “NOLA King” and was set to film in New Orleans, before production relocated entirely to North Texas beginning in late March 2026.
Sheridan is writing every episode himself. The cast also includes Kai Caster, Asa Germann, Lilah Pate, and Savanna Gann, with Stallone also appearing in the series.
Production is currently running through July across Fort Worth, Plano, Dallas, Frisco, Keller, Denton, and Southlake. No release date has been announced yet.
