Many films of The Fast and the Furious film series have been released so far, and now another film is going to be added to it soon because Dwayne Johnson‘s starring film Fast & Furious 11th installment got a new update.
Fast & Furious 11 and Fast X sequel “Fast X: Part 2” recently received the latest update for its filming and release, In which it has been revealed that filming of Fast & Furious 11 next film is in development but the release may be delayed.
Not long ago, franchise star Tyrese Gibson, who plays Roman, Hints at ‘Fast & Furious 11’ Filming Delay beyond April 4, 2025. In an interview with CBR, Tyrese Gibson said:-
“Because of the strike, both strikes, there were some real delays in writing and kind of getting the film up on its feet. I’m hearing that we’re going to get it going right in 2025, right at the top of the year.”
Now, Fast & Furious 11 director Louis Leterrier confirms that the film is facing a delay in release and has also confirmed the filming start dates for Fast & Furious final sequel, based on which the release can be predicted.
The release of the film has been delayed to Summer 2026 due to the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA Strike, and now it will not be released till April 4, 2025.
Confirming the filming will begin in the fall of 2025 after finishing a horror film in September, In a recent interview with Collider at a CCXP MX panel, director Louis Leterrier said:-
“It’s happening. It’s happening very, very soon. I’m able to shoot a little horror movie this summer. I’m finishing my horror movie on September 15th, and I start Fast on September 16th.”
