Elon Musk's Twitter Treat Paying for 3 Celebrities' Blue Checkmarks

Twitter is giving special privileges to some favorite people of Elon Musk. Twitter announced that users have to pay $8 per month to keep their verification iconic blue checkmarks and most of the verification iconic blue checkmarks started disappearing after the company fully moved over to its new subscription service called Twitter Blue.

Now as users have to pay for their verification, but three celebrities had their verification iconic blue checkmarks without paying because Elon Musk shared the news he’s paying for them.

Stephen King noticed that Twitter would remove verification if users aren’t paying for the subscription but he still has the blue checkmark and then he tweeted, “My Twitter account says I’ve subscribed to Twitter Blue. I haven’t. My Twitter account says I’ve given a phone number. I haven’t,” Musk replied to his tweet: “You’re welcome namaste.”

LeBron James is also in the good books of Elon Musk. LeBron James also announced that he also hasn’t paid for the blue checkmark but Musk claims this was his doing.

And the third one is William Shatner. Musk accepted it was his doing but did not elaborate on why he chose those three celebrities out of all and let them keep their blue checks for free.
