The “Am I Being Unreasonable?” comedy–thriller series is set to release on Hulu. The series was critical acclaim on the BBC last September but now Hulu has acquired “Am I Being Unreasonable?” steaming.
“Am I Being Unreasonable?” is a half-hour series consisting of six episodes for its first season and will premiere on Hulu on April 11, 2023. Hulu has also shared the official trailer of the series.
The series was created, written, and executive produced by Cooper and Hizli. The series was filmed in Bristol and around the West Country.
The show follows Nic played by Daisy May Cooper, a woman struggling and being trapped in a depressing marriage but she is going on for her young son, Ollie played by Lenny Rush. But her life takes a turn when a new person named Jen played by Selin Hizli comes to town, Nic’s life begins to move on “through this kindred soul, her dark secret starts to bubble up.”

Am I Being Unreasonable Update (2026)
Updated July 2026. Am I Being Unreasonable? has grown since this story — Hulu picked up season 2, which premiered March 12, 2025, with Daisy May Cooper and Selin Hizli back for another round of the show’s dark comedic mystery, joined by guests including Chelsea Peretti and Tom Davis. The BBC and Hulu didn’t stop there: a third and final series was commissioned in May 2026, confirming Cooper and Hizli will close out the story they began in this original UK run. Hulu has continued serving as the show’s U.S. home throughout, mirroring the deal that first brought the BBC comedy-thriller stateside.
