How to Train Your Dragon is an American media franchise and Universal Pictures has begun a How to Train Your Dragon live-action movie, with Dean DeBlois who is the writer, director, and producer of the film.
It consists of three feature films: How to Train Your Dragon released on March 26, 2010, How to Train Your Dragon 2 released on June 13, 2014, and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World released on February 22, 2019.
Universal Pictures has already featured the project in the development process and dated the feature for a March 14, 2025 release and the casting process is already underway.
The film series has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and the first film’s nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Score.
The original three-film series starred Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Kristen Wiig. Here is the trailer of the film.
