Virgin River Season 6 Begins Filming: It is Still Bad News
Some recent news has revealed that Virgin River is starting filming for its 6th season. The cast begins filming season 6. Unfortunately, there is some bad news associated with the filming of Virgin River Season 6.
Season 5 of Virgin River was released on Sep 7, 2023, and after the dramatic cliffhanger at the end of its 2nd episode, there are demands for more episodes for the popular Netflix series.
But now that the filming for the 6th season is about to begin, this filming update is devoid of bad news. The next season of Virgin River has started filming, but it definitely won’t be released until 2025.

Actually, Deadline has confirmed the new release date of the show at the beginning of this month.
The shows that streaming platform Netflix announced to delay the release of during the announcement of its slate for the rest of the year include the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, Ginny & Georgia, Wednesday, and Virgin River.
This news grew even more when news broke of a new Virgin River prequel focusing on the relationship between Mel’s father, Everett, and her mother, Sarah.
The film’s release has been delayed to improve the timing of the prequel; in the series, Everett Reid (John Allen Nelson) had previously revealed that he had something to tell Mel. While fans don’t seem to be convinced at all about the need for a prequel series.
