Venom: The Last Dance Update (2026)
Updated July 2026. Venom: The Last Dance opened in theaters on October 25, 2024, closing out Tom Hardy’s trilogy exactly as planned — director Kelly Marcel has said the studio always envisioned three films and no more. The threequel opened softer than its predecessors domestically but still finished its run with a worldwide total north of $475 million, ahead of Let There Be Carnage. Hardy has hinted this was his last outing as Eddie Brock, and the film’s ending backs that up. Sony hasn’t shut the door on the symbiote entirely, though: a new Venom project is now in development at Sony Pictures Animation, with Hardy expected to be involved in some capacity. The trilogy has also found a second life since, becoming a surprise streaming hit on Prime Video in spring 2026.
