The Palace of Fontainebleau or Château de Fontainebleau is in the southeast of the center of Paris and is one of the largest French royal châteaux. The ballroom between the Oval Court and the gardens was used as a filming location in the film.
The ballroom is one of the most remarkable rooms in the Château de Fontainebleau. The François Ist Gallery located on the first floor was also used to film a few scenes of the film.
