The Upshaws has been entertaining us since 2021 on Netflix, and now it is releasing its part 5, which is the official trailer.
The new season features actors Mike Epps, Wanda Sykes, and Kim Fields. The rest of the cast includes Diamond Lyons as Kelvin Upshaw, Khali Spraggins as Aaliyah Upshaw,
Jermelle Simon as Bernard Upshaw, Gabrielle Dennis as Tasha Lewis, Journey Christine as Maya Upshaw, and more.
The story continues from part four, in which the family makes a difficult decision about their finances.
On March 26, 2024, a trailer was released that shows Regina and Bennie navigating their teenage children’s new dating lives.
The trailer also features the tumultuous relationship between Lucretia and Bennie, which is still full of harsh jokes, pettiness, and mutual disdain. Benny is shown running his mechanic shop and learning to fix electric cars, which he describes as “an iPhone on wheels.”
The official synopsis of the part 5 says, “The Upshaws continue to ride life’s ups and downs, including new jobs, bigger dreams, health struggles and some major life surprises but still hang on with the love that comes with family.”
The Upshaws: Part 5 will start streaming on Netflix from April 18, 2024.
