The ‘Twisted Metal’ Trailer Explained

The upcoming actionadventure TV-series ‘Twisted Metal’ has released its trailer get ready for another TV adaptation of a popular video game. Twisted Metal series is based on PlayStation’s car combat video game series of the same name.

The Official Synopsis along with the trailer of the series reads, “Twisted Metal, a half-hour live-action TV series based on the classic PlayStation game series, is a high-octane action comedy, based on an original take by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and written by Michael Jonathan Smith, about a motor-mouthed outsider offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.”

“With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief, he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.” The trailer concluded.

The trailer shows Anthony Mackie as John Doe in a car enjoying music and saying “Ladies and gentlemen start your engines.”

The film stars Anthony Mackie as John Doe, Tahj Vaughans as Mike, Stephanie Beatriz as Quiet, Chelle Ramos as Jamie Roberts, Michael Carollo as Car, and Jared Bankens as Agent Shepard. The series is set to release on July 27, 2023, on Peacock.
