The ‘Daliland’ Trailer Explained

Spanish Surrealist painter and printmaker Salvador Dalí’s marriage with his wife and muse, Gala Life-based American film Daliland is upcoming in theaters and on-demand on June 9, 2023.

Magnolia Pictures the distributor of the film has released its trailer to get a glimpse of the film. The trailer of the film starts with Ben Kingsley as Salvador Dalí and the artist’s life in the 1970s.

The ‘Daliland’ Trailer Explained: Most of the trailer centers on a gallery assistant, played by Christopher Briney well known for his role in the series The Summer I Turned Pretty. Christopher Briney played James a gallery assistant who has been given the task of helping Dalí prepare for a show in the 1970s and shows the relationship of Salvador Dalí with his wife, Gala played by Barbara Sukowa.

Ezra Miller was also an important part of the film as he portrayed the younger version of Salvador Dalí. The trailer ends with Kingsley saying Salvador Dalí “Death — it frightens me, and this is the basis of my inspiration,”.

Dalíland was world premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival on September 17, 2022. Then Magnolia Pictures acquired distribution rights and now the film is coming to the theaters so get ready to watch the inside of the Surrealist painter and printmaker Salvador Dalí life.
