According to this Instagram post shared by Carmen Ejogo, filming of the series ended on February 17, 2024.

Release delayed due to filming delays

Due to the SAG-AFTRA and WAGA strikes, the production of many films and series was affected, and their filming was halted, one of them is The Penguin, earlier this HBO series was supposed to be released in spring 2024, but due to the delay in filming, its release may happen till mid or late 2024.
