The Avett Brothers is a Rock band From the North Carolinan city “Concord.” Now The Avett Brothers Scott Avett and Seth Avett are ready to make a comeback with their new music video for their song “Country Kid.”
“The Await Brothers” were spotted at Frye’s Roller Rink in Concord for the filming of their upcoming song album. Recently, they released a music video for their song “Country Kid” in their upcoming album on their Official Instagram which you can see here:-
As soon as this video was posted on Instagram, many people started commenting about its filming location, and Viewers and fans Started guessing where it took place.
Noticing the background of the music video, some people speculated that it was filmed in a roller skating rink “Frye’s Roller Rink,” whose address is 2800 Poplar Tent Rd, Concord, NC 28027.
The success of The Await Brothers’ performances and their musical skills have cemented their hometown roots, their new music video also shows something similar.
The rock band’s main act is to regularly sell out shows in the Carolinas. Eve shows at the time of New Year— in Charlotte up to Raleigh — are highly anticipated yearly traditions for several Viewers and fans.
In a conversation with axios Seth Avett said:- “Frye’s Roller Rink is an institution.”
He further added:-
“It’s been a hub of family enjoyment and an essential destination for kids in the area for decades … seemed like there was no better place to have fun, get goofy with our neighbors, and ultimately to connect some of our most enduring childhood (and grown-up) dreams.”
Along with Scott Avett and Seth Avett, extras you’ll see in this upcoming music video are also Concord residents.

The Avett Brothers' “Country Kid” Update (2026)
Updated August 2026. That roller-rink shoot became the official music video for Country Kid, directed by Adam Rothlein and released in early April 2024. The song was the second single from the Avett Brothers’ first new studio album in five years, which followed on May 17, 2024 — with the band, dressed as a superhero, a bear and more, skating through Frye’s Roller Rink in their hometown of Concord.
