Filming a special scene in The Challengers proved to be a delicious experience for Josh O’Connor. The scene in question, which Josh describes as a delicious experience, is a flashback to Patrick’s younger years.

Josh’s character, Patrick when visits his girlfriend Tashi (Zendaya) and best friend Art (Mike) in college. At one point, Patrick and Art share a churro (a type of fried dough from Spanish and Portuguese cuisine), Josh’s first churro treat, because he has never had churros before and has not tasted the taste.

This scene has gone viral for its erotic undertones but have you noticed this churro sharing before?

During a conversation with a Capital FM Published on April 26, Josh explained:-

“That was my first churro, and I hadn’t eaten anything that day,”

“So I was starving, and tasted my first churro — and churros are extraordinary.”

Pointing to Orlando Bloom: To the Edge star Mike Faist, 32 he added:-

“So I ate my one and then I ate [Mike’s].”

After this, Zendaya told the outlet:-

“The churro wasn’t scripted. The churro was something you guys kinda found, right, with [director Luca Guadagnino]?”

O’Connor added:-

“That was definitely a Luca thing,” he also referred to a similar scene earlier in the movie containing a hot dog.

The story of this sports film follows Tashi, a former tennis champion turned coach, who inspires her husband, Art, to become a Grand Slam champion because her hubby was already an average athlete.

After Art’s consecutive defeats, Tashi pits him against his former best friend and ex-lover Patrick.
