Disney+ has just unveiled the brand new trailer for its upcoming series which is created by Leslye Headland.
The series is helmed by the duo of Leslye Headland and Alex Garcia Lopez with the producers Damian Anderson, and Rayne Roberts.
Jason Micallef, Simon Emanuel, Jeff King, and Kathleen Kennedy serve as the executive producers, with co-executive producers Kor Adana and Charmaine DeGrate.
Amandla Stenberg, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Joonas Suotamo, Amy Tsang, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Margarita Levieva are coming in the leading roles.
The latest trailer is released on 19 Mar 2024 with the length of 1 min 45 second showing Jedi Temple on Coruscant, taking place before Episode 1 during The High Republic era.
The trailer shows Jedi training and a cantina, with Headland’s unique take on Star Wars inspired by martial arts films. It also features several action-packed scenes, which makes the fans more excited.
The director had a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter where he revealed they were already late by saying,
“We are done! I mean, there’s a few things getting wrapped up. We were a little late on the ADR because of the actors’ strike, but as far as I know, I believe all of that has been approved and delivered.”
Star Wars: The Acolyte is set to release on June 4, 2024 on Disney+.
