Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi an American animated anthology series released on Disney+ on October 26, 2022, is renewed for season 2.
Tales of the Jedi will be back on Disney+ with new episodes following the story of legendary members of the Jedi Order. Each episode of Tales of the Jedi tells a short story featuring the Jedi and adventure and each episode was around 15 minutes long.
Season 1 of Tales of the Jedi had six episodes that alternately covered the storylines of Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku which are voiced by Ashley Eckstein and Corey Burton.
Dave Filoni the creator of the series shared the news at the celebration of the 15th anniversary of Star Wars: The Clone Wars reveling the surprise and saying, “Tales of the Jedi was so fun the first time, I decided to do some more,“.
Star Wars official tweeter account has also tweeted announcing the 2nd season of the Star Wars ‘Tales of the Jedi’.

Update: ‘Tales of the Jedi’ Continued as a Rotating Anthology, Not a Traditional Season 2
Updated July 2026. Rather than a direct season 2, Lucasfilm evolved the Tales of the Jedi format into a rotating anthology banner: Tales of the Empire followed in 2024, and Tales of the Underworld — featuring Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane stories — arrived in 2025. Each installment kept the original’s short-form, character-focused structure while shifting to different eras and figures across the Star Wars timeline. Dave Filoni has continued overseeing the format, and fans have come to expect a new ‘Tales of [Placeholder]’ series announced around Star Wars Day each year, continuing the pattern set since the original Tales of the Jedi debuted in 2022.
