Star Trek: Lower Decks has officially been renewed for Season 5

Star Trek: Lower Decks is an American adult animated television series and the fourth season is expected to be released in 2023 with an official announcement of season 5 renewal.

Paramount+ announced that the adult animated Star Trek: Lower Decks will release 10 episodes for its fifth season. Star Trek: Lower Decks has released on CBS All Access on August 6, 2020, until October 2020 with the second season on Paramount+ from August to October 2021, and a third season in August 2022.

The plot of Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 4 is still unannounced but the series would be making a trip to the Enterprise and Starfleet crew residing in the “lower decks” of the USS Cerritos and an unknown force is destroying starships and threatening galactic peace. The Starfleet crew includes Ensign Beckett Mariner, Ensign Brad Boimler, Ensign Tendi, and Ensign Rutherford.

The series has received mixed reviews till now from critics. Star Trek: Lower Decks will return somewhere in late summer, but an exact date is still unannounced.
