Principal photography for Spider-Man: Brand New Day began on August 3, 2025, under the working title “Blue Oasis.” Most of the movie was filmed across Scotland and England, with Glasgow doubling for New York City. Large studio sets were also built at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, while several scenes were shot in London, Surrey, Kent, Dorset, and Basingstoke. A few authentic location shots were also captured in New York City. Filming wrapped on December 19, 2025, with extra scenes filmed in April 2026 to improve the movie’s humor and villain storyline.

Filming began under the secret production title “Blue Oasis” to keep the project hidden from the public. During filming on September 19, 2025, Holland suffered a minor concussion while performing a stunt, causing production to pause for about ten days before he recovered. The filmmakers later reunited in April 2026 to shoot additional scenes that added more humor and strengthened the villain’s storyline.
