Snow White is Disney’s upcoming American musical fantasy film whose directorial credit goes to Marc Webb and writers Greta Gerwig, Erin Cressida Wilson, Dorothy Ann Blank, and Richard Creedon penned it.
The Snow White movie is a new live-action version of Disney’s 1937 cartoon Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which was based on a fairy tale from 1812 by the Brothers Grimm.
Along with The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes star Rachel Zegler, it also stars Andrew Burnap, Death on the Nile, and Red Notice star Gal Gadot.
The story follows Snow White, a kind princess whose jealous stepmother, the Evil Queen, wants to get rid of her. Snow White escapes into the forest and finds a new home with seven friendly dwarfs. But when the Queen tricks her with a poisoned apple, only true love can save her.

When and Where Was Disney’s Snow White Filmed?
Snow White was originally scheduled to take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Los Angeles, California in March 2020, but was delayed to July 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After that in August 2021, it was revealed that the filming would take place from March to July 2022 in the United Kingdom.
However, principal photography began on 7 March 2022, Just a few days later on March 15, the production set was damaged in a fire at Pinewood Studios. A massive fire broke out on the set when a tree suddenly caught fire on the stage under construction. A Disney source said no filming was going on at the time of the fire.
The shooting schedule was configured on March 27 when Rachel Zegler who played the role of Snow White in this movie was to attend an award show in Los Angeles, but by the time Zegler traveled to Los Angeles, the film’s villain Gal Gadot had begun filming for her role as the Evil Queen.
On April 22, filming for Gal Gadot’s scenes had been completed, then on July 13, Zeigler revealed that filming had been completed because the movie’s additional filming took place in June 2024.
