1. Festetics Palace, Hungary

The Festetics Palace is a Baroque palace in the town of Keszthely, Hungary. The Little Palace in Os Alta and the headquarters of Ravka’s Second Army are filmed in this location. The Festetics Palace was constructed by Kristóf Festetics in 1745. Festetics Palace has only one central tower, the other four were digitally added.

Many sections of the palace are used to film the series including the library, the corridors, and the staircase. The ballroom seen in the series was also filmed in the palace’s concert hall.

2. Amadé-Bajzáth-Pappenheim Chateau, Hungary

The Keramzin orphanage in the series where Alina Starkov and Malyen grew together was filmed in the Amadé-Bajzáth-Pappenheim Chateau, a Baroque castle located in the village of Iszkaszentgyörgy.

3. Museum of Ethnography, Hungary

The Museum of Ethnography is a national museum in Budapest and used to film the scenes where the King of Ravka and General Aleksander Kirigan and other members are present in the court in the Grand Palace. This film is also shot in the medieval walls of Déli Rondella gate in Budapest.

4. Szentendre, Hungary

Szentendre is a Hungarian town on the Danube River, north of the capital, Budapest. Alina after escaping from the Little Palace land on the streets of Ryevost, East Ravka was filmed in the town of Szentendre a lovely small city with narrow alleys, cobblestone streets, and pastel-colored buildings.

1. Royal Riding Hall

Royal Riding Hall is a Reenactment site in Budapest, Hungary, and a 2-min walk from the Buda Castle. The Novyi Zem checkpoint hall in the series was filmed here in this location.

2. Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library

The Metropolitan Ervin Szabó Library is the largest library network in Budapest and the main branch is housed in the 19th-century neo-baroque Wenckheim Palace. The library where Alina looks through old maps is filmed here.

3. Brunszvik Castle

Brunszvik Castle is an 18th-century aristocratic residence in Martonvásár near Budapest and Pekka Rollins’s glass factory in Appelbroek is filmed here in this location.

4. Wenckheim Palace

Wenckheim Palace is a Library and Castle in Budapest. The royal quarters and the indoors are filmed in this historical Wenckheim Palace. The Castle is the biggest museum of agriculture in Europe.
