Boquete is a small mountain town which is located on the Caldera River, in Panama. In the series Restaurants at the End of the World, Chef Kristen visits Boquete a town in Central America, and explores “trek-to-table cuisine” at the Hacienda Mamecillo in Boquete.
The town has a scenic location, temperature, and natural environment which make it popular for attracting tourists, and much smaller than the Central American party cities. This small picturesque town is mainly famous for its coffee.
2. Svalbard, Norway
Svalbard is a place between mainland Norway and the North Pole. Svalbard, Norway next on the list is a “remote arctic spot” and in Episode 2 of the series Chef Kristen was chillin’ out with chefs at the Isfjord Radio Adventure Hotel which is situated west of Longyearbyen, Which is located in the Svalbard archipelago of Norway.
The surrounding rough coastal landscape and the modern luxury hotel make it a beautiful sight. Svalbard is one of the best places on earth to see and photograph polar bears.
3. North Haven Island, Maine
North Haven is a small island which is mainly situated in the middle of Penobscot Bay. In the series Episode 3, Chef Kristen takes a trip up north to Turner Farm “Maine Island Bar Supper,”. The synopsis of the Episode reads “Kristen Kish travels to a remote island in Maine to help Turner Farm’s new chef put her Southern twist on their classic barn supper menu,”.
4. Paraty, Brazil
Paraty is a town along the mountains of Brazil’s Costa Verde, between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. In the series, along with Chef Kristen, we get a glimpse of the wining and dining in the rainforests of Paraty, Brazil including beaches, cobblestone roads, and lush landscapes, the southeastern town.
In the series, Restaurants at the End of the World host meets the owner of a floating restaurant called the Sem Pressa.
