Reality show lovers will definitely like Netflix‘s show “Selling Sunset.” The 7-part Netflix hit series Selling Sunset has been running since 2019 and has aired approximately 68 episodes so far.
The Reality-TV show featured Oppenheim Group’s elite real estate brokers selling luxury living in Los Angeles to affluent buyers. But when a new agent is entered into the show, and that agent joins the team, the drama intensifies.
Recently, the latest news has been revealed from Selling Sunset; Reality show star and Tarek El Moussa‘s wife Heather Rae Young reveals that filming Selling Sunset was “Very Toxic” for her, and they were very happy to come out.
Rae Reflects on Selling Sunset Season 6 and Suggests She Shouldn’t Have Been Asked for a 7th Season. Filming for Selling Sunset Season 7 began in January 2023, shortly after she and Tarek El Moussa gave birth to their son Tristan and was released in November 2023.
36-year-old Model and Selling Sunset alum Heather Rae El Moussa shares her experience filming the hit Netflix reality series, and she spoke openly about the difficulties of his time while filming “Selling Sunset.”
Heather Rae Young, Leave Selling Sunset, has been starring in the Netflix docudrama since its first season in 2019.
As per People reports in December a source confirmed that Heather would not be returning to the Netflix show for its upcoming 8th season, and now the actress herself has confirmed that she is happy to be back from the show.
Heather Rae El Moussa is glad because the poisonous (toxic) chapter of his life is over.
According to the E!news reports, Yesterday on April 3, the actress shared her filming experience on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast and said,
“On the show, I was pretty much level-headed the whole time,”
“I was kind of friends with everyone, I kept things pretty chill in my life. But it’s very toxic—you’re around a bunch of women, everyone wants to be stars on the show, and number one, and they’ll kind of do anything.”
He said that the first season was fun for him, and as the show grew in popularity, things changed, and she further added:-
“It just got worse and worse,” “They started adding more girls, it just became out of control. There’d be days I came home crying from the stress of filming.”
Besides the filming schedule, another aspect for the actress to handle was being a stepmom to Tarek and his ex-Christina Hall‘s kids, Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8.
Heather Rae El Moussa Explained:-
“I never knew when I was going to be filming,” “‘It was last minute, it took over my life. It was hard to do my real job—real estate. It was hard to do anything else.”
“I was away from [Tarek] all the time, I was away from our kids all the time. I’d be gone for like 12 to 14 hours, it was crazy. They just want more and more and more.”
Rae is currently happy to be working with Heather Tarek on her HGTV show The Flipping El Moussa. Despite previous difficult feelings after leaving the show, he described the filming of the show as “Frustrating.”
Actress reflected:-
“It was a blessing that I wasn’t asked to come back,” “Because I’m so much happier filming my show with Tarek. We’re co-producers on our show so we pick the hours.”
Things have changed now and she is happy and they are enjoying spending more time at home with their loved ones…
