Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) is filming ‘The Thicket’

The American film, television and stage actor Peter Dinklage is known for portraying Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones and now it is reported he is filming ‘The Thicket’.

According to Deadline, Tubi Films has begun filming of dark western thriller The Thicket directed by Elliott Lester based on Joe R. Lansdale’s novel of the same name, starring Peter Dinklage as Reginald Jones and Juliette Lewis as Cut Throat Bill.

The filming of the film began in Calgary, Canada on March 2, 2023, and is set to last in Alberta until April 2023.

The Thicket follows an innocent young man, Jack played by Levon Hawke who goes on an epic quest to save his sister Lula played by Esmé Creed-Miles who has been kidnapped by Juliette Lewis played by Cut Throat Bill and her gang.

Jack to save her enlists the help of a bounty hunter named Reginald Jones, a grave-digging alcoholic son of an ex-slave, and a prostitute. The gang helps to find Cut Throat Bill the deadly no man’s land known as The Big Thicket a place where blood and chaos reign.
