Hulu’s Paradise Season 3 Starts Filming Just Days After Season 2 Finale’ Fans Get Big Update

The hit sci-fi thriller series Paradise on Hulu has officially started filming its Season 3, and the timing has surprised many fans. The new season began production on April 7, 2026, just about one week after Season 2 ended.

This quick start shows how confident the makers are about the show’s success. The series has also received strong praise from famous author Stephen King, who is also known for Life of Chuck, The Monkey, and The Long Walk, who called it a “rare” show with great acting, strong story, and sharp dialogue.

The exciting filming update came directly from creator Dan Fogelman, who also wrote the story for Fred Claus. He shared the news on Instagram with a simple caption, “S3. Let’s go”, along with a behind-the-scenes image. The photo shows Xavier Collins, played by Sterling K. Brown, sitting at a wooden table and looking serious. Standing behind him is Teri Rogers-Collins, played by Enuka Okuma, holding plates.

This image hints at a big change in the story. Instead of the luxury bunker setting seen earlier, the characters now appear to be in a simple wooden cabin, suggesting that the story will continue exploring the surface world.

According to reports, the fast filming schedule was possible because the scripts were already completed before Season 2 ended. Also, Hulu renewed the series early, allowing the team to move ahead without delays. In an interview with ScreenRant, it was confirmed that the creators always planned to release new seasons every year.

The story of Paradise follows Xavier, a Secret Service agent living in what first looks like a perfect community. But the truth is shocking—the place is actually an underground bunker. After the mysterious death of President Cal Bradford, played by James Marsden, secrets begin to unfold. In Season 2, Xavier finally reaches the surface while searching for his wife.

Season 3 will be very important for fans because it is expected to be the final chapter of the series. The creators have already shared that they always planned the story to end in three seasons.

Along with Sterling K. Brown and Enuka Okuma, other cast members like Thomas Doherty, Krys Marshall, Sarah Shahi, and Aliyah Mastin are also expected to return.

With filming now underway and the story moving into new territory, fans can expect Paradise Season 3 to arrive in early 2027.
