This Valentine’s Day Joker is back with Lady Gaga in it. Joker: Folie a Deux is an upcoming American musical film directed by Todd Phillips. Todd Phillips has also revealed Lady Gaga revealed her First Look in ‘Joker’ Sequel.
Both Todd Phillips and Gaga shared Gaga’s first look from Joker: Folie à Deux. In the image posted on Instagram Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix can be seen and her lips are stained with his messed clown makeup. Phillips captioned his post, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Joker was released a few years ago and was directed by Todd Phillips as well and they are back again with a sequel. Joker became the highest-grossing R-rated film in history, with over $1 billion worldwide.
Gaga officially announced her character in the sequel of Joker last August, and also announced the release date and title of the film on Oct. 4, 2024, on her social media channels. With Phoenix and Lady Gaga, Joker 2 is also said to star Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, and Jacob Lofland.

Update: ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Bombed at the Box Office
Updated July 2026. The sequel Lady Gaga previewed here, Joker: Folie à Deux, opened in October 2024 to a lukewarm $37.7 million debut and went on to gross about $208 million worldwide against a break-even point Warner Bros. put north of $375 million, making it one of the year’s biggest box-office disappointments. It also became one of the first major comic-book movies to receive a D CinemaScore from opening-weekend audiences, with critics and fans divided over its musical format. Lady Gaga later said she remained proud of the film despite its reception, and Warner Bros. has not announced any further Joker installments.
