Kevin Costner’s reportedly leaving the Paramount series “Yellowstone”

According to many sources, Kevin Costner will exit the series in which he has played the role of John Dutton. The issue with exiting the series is Costner’s shooting schedule, with Costner available for a few days as the show has progressed.

Sources say that discussions are ongoing for the “Yellowstone” franchise that would cast many new characters from the show mothership with Matthew McConaughey in talks to star.

Paramount spokesperson said “Thanks to the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan, we are always working on franchise expansions of this incredible world he has built. Matthew McConaughey is a phenomenal talent with whom we’d love to partner.”
