After the show’s massive hit, it was renewed for a second season of Wednesday.
During the shooting of the Netflix original series Wednesday Season 2, one of the cast members quit the show due to personal reasons. Therefore, Shooting for the second season is currently on hold.

“Thora has returned to the States to attend to a personal matter and will not be returning to the production.”
According to reports, Thora had to go back to attend to an illness in her family. Even though she had completed the ‘bulk’ of her scenes, she couldn’t finish it.
Reports say that Thora had to go back because a family member was sick. She had finished most of her parts in the movie, but couldn’t complete it.
Now, it is not certain if she will appear in the series or if another actress will take her place. In any case, to continue the character’s storyline in the series, the creators would require another actor to be part of the show.
