Superman is returning with a blast!!! This superhero film has become even more interesting to watch because today, the director, James Gunn has officially revealed the title of the film. After watching it, the fans are going crazy to watch the movie.
Famous filmmaker and CEO of DC Studios Gunn recently announced that his upcoming Superman movie will be filmed entirely in the IMAX format, promising the audience an expansive and immersive viewing experience.
This movie will be the first feature film released from Gunn and Peter Safran’s newly restored DC Studios.
By shooting the film in IMAX, the makers aim to make it look and sound as big and bold as the superhero himself.
Gunn shared an exterior shot of Svalbard, Norway, where Superman is currently under production. When a fan asked if the scenic view of the icy Svalbard was shot in IMAX, Gunn confirmed that “The whole movie is shot in IMAX.”.
On the first day of filming, James announced that he had changed the movie’s title from “Superman: Legacy” to simply “Superman”.
Gunn shared an image of the Superman logo on Instagram that was covered in snow and captioned, “When I finished the first draft of the script, I called the film Superman: Legacy.”
“By the time I locked the final draft, it was clear the title was SUPERMAN. Making our way to you July 2025,”
David Corenswet is playing the role of the new Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan will play the role of Lois Lane.
Other cast members include Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen,
Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, and Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner.
This superhero film, Superman, will hit in the United States theaters on July 11, 2025, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
