Ben Affleck is back with a new character as Daniel Rourke in a 2023 American science fiction action thriller film Hypnotic co-written and directed by Robert Rodriguez. Rodriguez told Collider that he’s been working on the “Hypnotic” story for a long time since 2002.
The film follows a detective who was investigating her missing daughter and becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program.
The film stars Ben Affleck as Daniel Rourke along with Alice Braga, J. D. Pardo, Hala Finley, Dayo Okeniyi, Jeff Fahey, Jackie Earle Haley, and William Fichtner.
In the trailer of the film detective Danny Rourke is determined to find his missing daughter Austin but as he was investigating her he finds himself in a troublingly surreal situation. During his investigation, a series of reality-bending bank robberies came forward. Aided by Diana Cruz a gifted psychic and lethal specter the one man he believes knows something about her missing girl. Here is the trailer check it out.
The filming of the film started on September 27, 2021, and wrapped up on November 19 of the same year. The film is set to release theatrically on May 12, 2023, by Ketchup Entertainment in the United States.
