Two Tri-State natives are finalizing New Fears Eve, a horror comedy about three friends on New Year’s Eve who are pursued by The Doctor, the “sadistic surgeon of death.” .
The Co-director and producer of the film, P.J. Starks and Eric Huskisson were born and raised in Owensboro, said the crew filmed the movie in Davis County with the help of several local businesses and organizations.
Several names from Hollywood were brought to Owensboro for filming, including Dave Sheridan (Scary Movie, Horrible Bosses), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp, Terrifier 2), Hannah Fierman (V/H/S, Shudder’s Creepshow series), and Jeffrey Reddick (creator of the Final Destination franchise).
