David Ayer, who is the director of the hit action film “The Beekeeper“, has recently announced his next project.
The famous director will be directing Paramount’s “Heart of the Beast”, which will be produced by Damien Chazelle, according to Deadline.
The movie will be penned by Cameron Alexander but the details of the cast members are not revealed yet.
The plot details are kept under high wraps, but we know the film features the story of a retired Navy SEAL and his fighting dog who try to return to civilization after a catastrophic accident in the Alaskan wilderness.
Expectedly the story will also have an emotional core, highlighting the challenges faced by military personnel after their service.
Ayer, who previously directed the World War II film “Fury,” is a perfect fit for “Heart of the Beast”as he has much experience in leading films.
Along with writing the film, Cameron Alexander is also working as the executive producer. Richard Raymond serves as the co-producer.
WME represents Cedar Park and Ayer. Additionally, Ayer is represented by attorney David Weber and Tom Collier.
As of now, the cast and crew are being selected and the release date for Heart of the Beast is not planned as it is currently in Development status.
