Alnwick Castle, Alnwick, Northumberland, England
Alnwick Castle is featured in the first two Harry Porter movies. The most famous scene of the film in which Harry learns to fly a broomstick was filmed at the Outer Bailey part of Alnwick Castle.
The scene in the second movie where Harry and Ron crashed their flying car at Hogwarts was filmed in the Inner Bailey of the castle.
The main gate of the castle was used in the first two movies as an exit and entry to Hogwarts. Harry and his friends are seen using this door when visiting Hagrid’s Hut.

The scene from the first film when the troll rampages through Hogwarts was filmed on the north side of the Gloucester cathedral cloisters.
