Today, Netflix has released many trailers, one of which is the trailer of its new drama movie, “Man in Full.”
The film is coming under the direction of Regina King, who also led Ray in 2004, and If Beale Street Could Talk in 2018.
David E. Kelley is writing the screenplay and is the screen adaption of Tom Wolfe’s 1998 novel of the same name.
L. Warren Young, Evan Roe, Jeff Daniels, and Bill Camp are playing the leading roles of Gerald, Wally Croker, Charlie Croker, and Harry Zale.
Ted Gidlow produces the series with executive producers David E. Kelley, Regina King, Matthew Tinker, and co-producer Amy Libowsky.
Netflix unveiled the trailer today, 20 Mar 2024, with only 48 seconds showing the leading character, Jeff Daniels, struggling after his company files for bankruptcy.
He faces many challenges as his luxurious life crumbles and other characters with legal troubles intersect with his story.
The teaser opens by saying, “When you die, will people notice? Four more years” Jeff says, “I heard once a man reaches a point where he’s over”
He continued, “That ain’t the tragedy. The strategy is he refuses to recognize it”
The drama series A Man in Full is set to release on May 2, 2024, on Netflix.
